The peak

I’m going up a mountain,
The scenery is amazing,
I look at the concrete jungle below,
And am thankful that I can escape it even if for some time.

I’m going up a mountain,
It is a huge one,
I take short breaks and enjoy the climb,
Look at the scenery and appreciate.

I’m going up a mountain,
My legs are shaking,
I cannot climb anymore,
But i cannot stop either.

There’s a lady here,
Maybe she can help me climb the mountain,
We climb the mountain together,
And reach the peak as the sun sets.
